Mobility Battery Charger: 24V 2.0A XLR 24BC2000T-4 for Scooters, Power Chairs

Our premium quality 24 volt 2.0 amp XLR connector battery charger is suitable for use on sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries with a capacity size of 7 Ah or larger. Typical applications include electric scooters, mobility scooters, and power chairs equipped with an off-board charging female XLR socket. The charger comes with a 3-prong adapter plug.

The charger features automatic shut off when battery charging is complete. Charging time varies greatly with the level of battery depletion. It offers short circuit protection, which prevents damage caused when operating in a short circuit condition for an indefinite period of time. The charger is "self-recovering" when the fault condition is removed.

Additionally, the charger provides reverse polarity protection, preventing damage when positive and negative polarities are connected in reverse. It operates fully automatically, safely charging and maintaining a full charge. The final stage of charging is the float mode, and the battery may remain connected indefinitely. In this mode, the charger maintains a fully charged condition.

Designed to prevent overcharging, the charger automatically switches to float mode. It follows a complete 3-stage process: bulk charge, absorption, and maintenance/float. The charger also offers low voltage protection, as it will not start charging when the battery voltage is below a preset value.

Compared to linear chargers, switch mode chargers are much lighter. The charger's LED display indicates the battery charge level as follows: A. POWER LED (Clear Lens - Red Color): Power On - LED On; No Power - LED Off B. CHARGING/FAULTS LED - (Clear Lens - Red / Green Color): Power On, No Battery/Full Charge (20 Hrs) - Both LED's Off; Bulk /Absorption Charge - Red LED On, Green LED Off; Float Charge - Red LED Off, Green LED Blinking; Maintenance Charge - Red LED Off, Green LED On.
